Discover Our Brand New Textbooks
We have been working hard to produce a series of textbooks for the new A Level Maths specification. And now they are finally here! Our textbooks are designed for the classroom and makes both teaching and learning mathematics easier and more enjoyable.
Features
Our textbooks are designed to be used in the classroom. Each chapter sets out key learning goals and provides explanations, worked examples and plenty of practice questions to help achieve this. Concepts are broken down in designated ‘break it down’ sections, so that students can see how to approach various problems. Stretch and challenge sections are included to promote deeper understanding. Our textbooks are a perfect tool for teaching this new specification. Download a free sample below.
The AS Pure Textbook has 13 chapters and covers all of the pure content on the AS Specification. It is has been written to match the requirements of the new A Level Maths specification, with a greater emphasis on problem-solving and mathematical modelling. The textbook has ‘break it down’ sections, where the elements of a problem are broken down before we solve them, allowing students to have insight into how problems can be approached. Our aim with this textbook is to unify the concepts from the outset, rather than teaching the course in discrete chunks; our mixed exercises and refresh and review exercises achieve this. This textbook has been created alongside teachers, so we know that it is well-suited for the classroom.

This textbook focuses on the Applied content in the AS maths specification. The statistics section opens with a summary of the large data set and the statistical variables involved, allowing students to understand the context. The subsequent chapters explain statistics through worked examples and questions, some of which link directly to the large data set and allow for further exploration. Throughout this part of the textbook, we regularly encourage exploration and discussion of the large data set. Our separate editions for each exam board allows us to make our use of the large data set specific and detailed. The mechanics section uses a visual approach to explain ideas.
Specifications: Number of pages: 132 Weight: 450g
These will not produced until demand for these is received. Instead work on revision guides and question booklets will start. The likelihood is that they will be produced as short online versions and go for a cheap price of about a £2…
